This tournament is held in memory of one of our members, Todd King.

Sunday 14th April 2024

• First Matches will start at 12 Noon (please arrive for 11.45 box draw)
• Mixed Doubles format, sign up sheet in the club house.
• Please sign up in pairs if possible.
• Followed up by a BBQ/Tea with Todd’s Family.

Play will be split in to 4 or 5 boxes, dependent on numbers attending.

The format for box matches will be first to 4 games. Followed by 2 x single set semi-finals, and the final.

We would like to invite all members, past, present, and future (so many new little folks now) to join us as a family, to share a BBQ/Tea whilst enjoying another great final.

Everyone is very welcome, whether you are playing, or you just want to come along and spectate in remembering Todd on this special day, and celebrating his love for KLTC and all things tennis!

Todd joined KLTC as a junior aged 10 and found a true love of tennis very quickly. He progressed through the junior ranks and was delighted to be invited to join men’s match practice, at only 13, by Geoff Douglas who was a fantastic mentor to the boys coming through the ranks. He went on to play men’s league each year after that, including his final season, whilst undertaking 6 months of Chemotherapy, daily Radiotherapy and taking his GCSEs.

Tennis and the KLTC family spirit was hugely important to him, particularly at that time. It is our absolute pleasure to continue supporting the club in his honour and we look forward to seeing you all there.
